Palestinians carry the body of the freed prisoner, Mohammad Shabrawi, in the West Bank city, of Jenin. 01- SOUNDBITE (in Arabic): the Mother of Muhammad Shabrawi STORYLINE: Shabrawi, who died last Sunday during a trip to receive treatment in Turkey, as a result of medical negligence he was subjected to inside the prisons of the Israeli occupation. His health has deteriorated significantly since his arrest. The Palestine Detainees Studies Center said around 60% of the Palestinian prisoners detained in Israeli jails, suffer from chronic diseases, a number of whom died in detention or after being released due to the severity of their cases caused by a deliberate medical negligence policy. Palestinian administrative detainees believe hunger strike is the only way they can win their freedom by forcing Israel to confine their detention to a specific period rather than keep renewing it for months and years.
