At firing ranges in Zaporozhye region military commandant’s office servicemen undergo armoured hardware drills. STORYLINE: At firing ranges in Zaporozhye region, as part of the advanced training of military personnel, servicemen train to deploy armoured vehicle weaponry. About 100 servicemen of the military commandant's office of Zaporozhye region, as well as more than 40 units of weapons and military equipment are involved in the training. Throughout the entire time, military personnel of the military commandant's office perform exercises on firing PKM large-caliber machine guns mounted on the UAZ Patriot pickup combat vehicle at mock enemy equipment and manpower. They are firing from the Patrol-A armored motor vehicles, which is designed to provide support for special forces when they perform various tasks, including in urban environment, as well as for patrolling the terrain, reconnaissance, and transportation of personnel. Servicemen practice firing from the BTR-80 weaponry. With the help of modern copter type unmanned aerial vehicles, military personnel perform reconnaissance tasks, thereby adjusting fire and artillery strikes for Vasilyok 82 mm mortars located at a distance of up to 3 km.
