STORYLINE: Today marks the first anniversary of the departure of the perpetrators of the heroic Jalameh operation, the martyrs Ahmed Ayman Abed and Abd al-Rahman Hani Abed. The two martyrs advanced towards the occupation Jalameh checkpoint north of the city of Jenin and began shooting and clashing with the Israeli soldiers on duty, which resulted in their martyrdom and the killing of an Israeli officer holding the position of “deputy.” Patrol commander in Nahal Brigade The occupation army's preliminary investigations into the operation revealed that the two martyrs Abed waited for two and a half hours near the "Jalama" checkpoint, before an occupation army force arrived and clashed with them from point zero. The Hebrew sources reported that one of the Israeli army officers was critically injured and was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead, and that "the two Palestinians opened fire at the army forces from a distance of 5 meters, and were able to kill an officer." It is worth noting that since the beginning of this year, Jenin and Nablus have topped the number of martyrs and resistance operations, especially armed resistance, against the “Israeli” occupation army in the occupied West Bank. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, since the beginning of 2022 until now, 151 martyrs have died, including 100 in the West Bank and 51 in the Gaza Strip. Footage by /APA
