APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Russia- 18 February 2023. Airborne troops neutralise AFU drones with modern drone guns

Tam açıklama

RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Russia- 18 February 2023. Airborne troops neutralise AFU drones with modern drone guns STORYLINE: Airborne Forces' units are actively using drone guns against the AFU UAVs. It has proved its effectiveness in combat conditions within the special military operation. The guns disable the AFU quadcopter unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) at a distance of up to two kilometres, reducing the enemy's ability to reconnaissance and adjust fire on the positions of Russian troops. Within combat missions, observers of a unit of one of the airborne formations detected a Ukrainian quadcopter approaching the front line of Russian troops to conduct reconnaissance. A drone gun operator, having received a command to suppress the drone, following instructions from his comrades-in-arms using tracer ordnance with small arms, located the enemy quadcopter, seized it, and landed it. The landed quadcopter's memory turned out to contain valuable information about the location and launching points of the AFU UAVs. Footage by /APA
