CMD combined artillery battalions in action within special military operation STORYLINE: Combined artillery battalions from the Central Military District (CMD), formed by 152mm Msta-S and 152-mm D-20 towed cannon crews, are involved in the special military operation. These units perform everyday fire attacks, destroy the manpower and hardware of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The commanders of the combined artillery battalions are assigned up to 50 tasks per day. Depending on the distance and type of target, they distribute assignments among towed and self-propelled gun crews. The crews of the D-20 cannons eliminate the sheltered infantry of the enemy. The crews of the Msta-S howitzers support the operations, conducted by motorised rifle units, in all the directions. The cohesive and efficient operations, conducted by the CMD artillery units, prevent the redeployment of enemy reserve forces, and support the offensive of the Russian troops Footage by /APA
