Palestinian demonstrators participate in the weekly a protest against settlement in the village of Beit Dajan, in the West Bank city of Nablus. 0.1 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) Nasr Abu Jaish, Coordinator of the Land Defense Committee in Beit Dajan. STORYLINE: Several Palestinians were bodily hurt today as Israeli forces attacked a nonviolent anti-occupation protest in the village of Beit Dajan, to the east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said at least one protester was treated for an injury from a rubber-coated round, while others were treated for suffocation from teargas inhalation. Palestinians have been holding weekly protests in the village on Fridays demanding an end to the Israeli apartheid and regime in Palestine as well as to illegal Israeli settlement activities.
