STORYLINE: The Palestinian demonstrators marched to reject the Israeli army's closure of the main street of the town, to reject settlements, and to support Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons. In the aftermath, clashes erupted between Palestinian demonstrators and the Israeli army forces, which were heavily present in the area, resulting in dozens of Palestinians suffocating as a result of tear gas canisters fired by Israeli soldiers.
