The Director General of Stamping and Control of Precious Metals in Gaza, Raed Al-Jazzar, says that all precious metals are subject to examination before they reach the local markets in the Strip, whether from local or imported industries. Its Al-Jazzar confirmed that the department takes samples of all metals imported from abroad to be sure they conform to specifications and standards. Nida Eleiwa, a specialist in the chemical laboratory for the examination of precious metals, says that the main goal of the examination laboratories is to accurately determine and analyze the gold karat.
