They were recognized by FIFA and the International Sports Committee, and they represented Palestine in many tournaments. He added, after the success of the Palestinian team in Lebanon, contact was made with a number of short stature in the Gaza Strip to form a football team, so that the national team would be from inside and outside Palestine.
