Western MD's repair units of Combined Arms Army restore, repair and modernise military hardware and armament STORYLINE: Personnel of repair units of the Combined Arms Army from the Western Military District (WMD) uninterruptedly maintain, modernise and repair armament and hardware. Thanks to the high qualifications of the servicemen of the repair units, as well as modern maintenance and repair vehicles, repair work of any complexity is carried out. In order to maintain high combat capability of units and ensure their continuous combat operations, the first priority is to repair armaments that are necessary for the fulfilment of the combat mission. During a shift, repairers return several dozen units of military hardware of various purposes, both wheeled and tracked, to the operational cycle. The specialists of repair units of the Wsetern Military District do not experience have any problems with spare parts. The speed of repair in the field workshops is the envy of the best car workshops. But speed of repair is not at the expense of quality. Military mechanics do things like for themselves. After repairs, they themselves take crew seats and make sure to check each vehicle before returning it to the front line. The machine arrives at the site, where the serviceability of assemblies and units is checked. There is a special training ground near the repair shop for this purpose, where combat vehicles are tested in various modes over rough terrain. The success of fulfilment of combat missions and lives of comrades depends on the technical serviceability of the vehicle. Footage by /APAwire
