RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Jerusalem - 21 July 2023. Israeli forces fire sound bombs towards Palestinian Muslims during Friday prayer, in the Silwan neighborhood, in East Jerusalem. 0.1 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) a citizen of Silwan STORYLINE: Many of the families in Silwan are under threat of forced displacement in this east Jerusalem neighborhood coveted by Jewish settlers because of its proximity to holy sites. More than 100,000 Palestinian residents of East Jerusalem are at risk of displacement, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), and around 330,000 face a lack of infrastructure and severe housing shortages because of discriminatory Israeli planning and zoning policies. Only 13 per cent of East Jerusalem is approved for Palestinians, subject to building permits, and most of these areas are already built up. Footage by /APA
