Mi-28 and Mi-24 attack helicopter crews continue to carry out combat missions during the special military operation. STORYLINE: The attack helicopters perform the mission in mixed combat pairs, which increases the strike capability of the Russian Aerospaсe Forces' army aviation. The pilots engage the enemy by destroying AFU manpower and lightly armoured vehicles. Within the course of the mission, the helicopter crews launched unguided missiles from the helicopter's lofting. This increases the radius of damage and ensures enhanced crew survivability, by reducing the flight time in the enemy's air defence detection area. The flights are carried out at extremely low altitudes with terrain following, allowing the crews to remain undetected by the enemy's air defence . In addition, the crews of the Mi-24 Krokodil attack helicopters provide escort and cover for the Mi-8 ambulance helicopters. Footage by APAwire
