STORYLINE: Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation forming a part of the regional grouping of troops continue an intensive combat training course in the Republic of Belarus. The Western Military District's motorised riflemen are currently practising assaulting fortified areas. With the help of armoured vehicles, they block a simulated enemy in a crowded area and, acting in small groups, conduct training street battles. Training and cohesion exercises are conducted both during daylight hours and at night. The troops shoot all types of small arms as well as mortars, hone their skills in driving combat vehicles, go through an obstacle line, learn tactical medicine and other disciplines.
