STORYLINE

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported, that the Israeli authorities issued another Administrative Detention order against a hunger-striking political prisoner.

The PPP stated that the detainee, Ahmad Radwan Hamamra, began the hunger strike 24 days ago.

It added that the detainee is protesting his continued imprisonment without charges or trial under the arbitrary Administrative Detention orders.

The PPS said Hamamra was slapped with a six-month administrative detention order for the third time since he was abducted by the soldiers in August 2020.

Hamamra was supposed to be released on October 16th, when his second Administrative Detention order was supposed to end, however, the new order will keep him imprisoned for six additional months.
