The family of Palestinian prisoner Ahmed Nazzal sitting inside their house, in Qabatiya near the Wet Bank city of Jenin. STORYLINE: The prisoner Ahmed Nazzal from the town of Qabatiya, Jenin district, announced the suspension of his hunger strike, which lasted 21 days, after reaching an agreement to limit the ceiling of his administrative detention. Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) said 12 other Palestinian administrative detainees in Israeli prisons are currently on hunger strike also demanding their freedom and an end to their ongoing detention. Seven of the prisoners are on hunger strike for more than 20 days. One administrative detainee from Tulkarm began on hunger strike on Sunday, the latest to join the hunger strikers demanding their freedom. Palestinian administrative detainees believe hunger strike is the only way they can win their freedom by forcing Israel to confine their detention to a specific period rather than keep renewing it for months and years.
