According to reports, around 70,000 tents were flooded within 12 hours, prompting warnings of a worsening humanitarian crisis for hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians living in temporary camps. Many displaced families remain in tents and makeshift shelters that lack adequate protection against rain and cold weather, leaving them vulnerable to flooding and harsh winter conditions.
