Displaced Palestinian Tayseer Obeid, 41, originally from Gaza City, digs a hole beneath the ground in the Al-Zawaida area of the central Gaza Strip. With a shortage of wood and plastic planks to build a proper tent for his family, he resorts to this method to provide shelter. The hole also serves to protect his children and family from random Israeli shelling and shield them from the bitter cold. On one side of the hole, Obeid inscribes the year "2025" as a symbol of hope and resilience in the face of adversity.
