Islamic Jihad leader Mahdi al-Sharqawi speaks during an interview after the Israeli army raided his house, in the West Bank city of Jenin. STORYLINE: The Israeli forces today detained at least 17 Palestinians in raids at their homes across in the West Bank, including two 16-year-old boys, according to various sources. Soldiers detained two 16-year-old youths during a raid of the village of al-Ouja, north of the city of Jericho to the east of the West Bank. In the Hebron governorate in the south of the West Bank, soldiers detained four Palestinians from the town of Halhoul, one from Yatta town, and another from Dahriyeh. In the north of the West Bank, soldiers detained four people from the Nablus district, and one from the town of Zababdeh, from the Jenin district. Three Palestinians were also rounded up in the city of al-Bireh, adjacent to Ramallah, and one person was detained in a raid at his home in Isawiyya neighborhood of East Jerusalem. Footage by /APA
