Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III leads the "Washing of the Feet" ceremony on Easter Holy Week in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem's Old City. STORYLINE: According to the Christian faith, after Easter two disciples of Jesus were on their way to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them, but the disciples did not recognize him. He asked them, "What are you discussing together as you walk along?". Jesus explained to them what had happened in Jerusalem a few days earlier. As they were close to the village where they were headed, they urged him strongly, "Stay with us, for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over." So he went in to stay with them.
