STORYLINE: Khalil Awawda, 40, from the town of Idna in the south of the occupied West Bank, resumed last week his hunger strike after Israel reneged on a promise to release him at the end of his current detention period, which was supposed to end this month. Awawda, a father of four children, was on his 111th day of hunger strike when the Israeli occupation authorities said they would not renew his administrative detention after it expires this month. As a result, he suspended his hunger strike but resumed it after Israel renewed his administrative detention for four more months. Footage /APAwire
