RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Khan Younis, 04 October 2021. A Palestinian English language teacher, Louay Sheikh Eid, dressed as a clown while teaching school students, in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza strip. 0.1 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) Louay Sheikh Eid. STORYLINE: Sheikh Eid said that he started using this method as a kind of psychological discharge for young school students after the psychological crisis left by Corona, and the recent military conflict between Israel and Hamas in May. "I tries to put a smile on the faces of these children", he added. Fadel Abu Hein, a psychologist based in Gaza, believes that children are the main victims of all military tensions. "Wars lead to disastrous psychological effects on children, leaving them with extreme fear, lack of confidence and insecurity, and making them more introverted or aggressive toward others," Abu Hein said. He suggested special care and a long-term strategy for all children of the Gaza Strip to rebuild their mental health so that they can eventually return to normal life. Footage by/ APAwire
