The Israeli authorities released the prisoner Thaer Amara, 35, from Tulkarm, after 15 years of detention in the Israeli Jails. 01- SOUNDBITE (in Arabic): Thaer Amara. STORYLINE: The Israeli authorities released the prisoner Thaer Omar Amara (35 years), from Tulkarm camp, after 15 years of detention in the Israeli Jails. Israel had arrested the prisoner Amara on August 30, 2006 and at that time a number of citizens were wounded by special forces bullets during the arrest process. The Israeli authorities accused Amara of armed activity within the Al-Aqsa Brigades, and a harsh sentence was issued against him when he was 20 years old. Footage by APAwire
