In 2020, UNRWA faced a double-crisis of unprecedented magnitude. Against the background of sustained regional and political and economic turmoil, the Agency dealt with its most drastic financial shortfall in its history. This was compounded by the unparalleled global public health crisis of COVID-19, which is now fuelling a pandemic of abject poverty and, together.
