A Palestinian man leads goats at a livestock market, days before the major Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha, in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip on October 1, 2014. During the first week of October, Muslims across the world will celebrate the annual festival of Eid al-Adha, or the Festival of Sacrifice, which marks the end of the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca and in commemoration of Prophet Abraham's readiness to sacrifice his son to show obedience to God.
