Palestinian youths draw a mural as part of a popular campaign to demand the inheritance rights of women in Gaza City on November 27, 2013. Reports of human rights in Gaza Strip pointed out that about 90% of the women who marry men from outside their family accept only a small portion of their inheritance due to their ignorance of the law or in a bid to avoid problems with their siblings. Furthermore, only 10% of them go to court to have their rights upheld or resort to reconciliation committees to resolve the problem amicably. Photo by Mohammed Talatene
