Palestinians hold placards during a vigil to show solidarity with Syrian civilians after hundreds were killed on Wednesday in rebel-held Damascus suburbs, in the West Bank city of Ramallah August 22, 2013. Some 30 Palestinians took part in the vigil on Thursday. The United Nations demanded Syria give its chemical weapons experts immediate access on Thursday to the suburbs where poison gas appears to have killed hundreds just a few miles from the U.N. team's hotel.
