Palestinian security forces carry the body of 37-year-old Hatem Shadid, who was shot dead by members of the Israeli internal security agency after ramming their car and attacking them with an axe in the West Bank area of Deir Sharaf on December 3, 2012, during his funeral procession in the village of Allar, near Tulkarem, on December 7. Palestinian security sources said they had been informed of the incident, but the area where it took place had been declared a closed military zone. Photo by Nedal Eshtayah
