Jewish-American scholar and activist Noam Chomsky stands during a press conference to support the Gaza-bound flotilla in the port of Gaza City, Saturday, Oct. 20 , 2012. Israeli soldiers commandeered a vessel carrying pro-Palestinian activists destined for Gaza on Saturday, cutting off communications and steering it from international waters toward the Israeli port of Ashdod.
