Palestinians mark the 64rd anniversary of 'Nakba', or catastrophe, in reference to the creation of the state of Israel 64 years ago in British-mandate Palestine, which led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, who either fled or were driven out of their homes during the 1948 war over Israel's creation.
