the power plant that generates electricity in Al-Nusirat in the central Gaza Strip, on 11 February 2012. The Gaza Energy Authority announced on 09 February that if fuel doesn't enter the coastal enclave within 72 hours the Strip will face a severe electricity crisis. The Palestinian government in Gaza has warned that fuel supplies for the main power plant are running out. A call for aid has been made to Arab and Muslim countries for urgent intervention and assistance. Photo by Majdi Fathi
