This October 29, 2008 file photo shows Italian peace activist Vittorio Arrigoni at the port in Gaza City celebrating the arrival of the 20-metre (65-foot) ship "Dignity" that departed from Cyprus the previous day to protest against the Israeli sanctions imposed after the Islamist Hamas movement seized the Gaza Strip in June 2007. A Salafist group of radical Islamists killed Italian activist Vittorio Arrigoni after kidnapping him in Gaza, a Hamas security official said Friday, April 15, 2011. "The Italian was killed by suffocation and his body was found in a street of the city of Gaza," a spokesman for the Islamist movement which controls the Gaza Strip reported. Two suspected kidnappers were arrested and security officials are looking for accomplices. Photo by Ashraf Amra
