Israeli soldiers detain a demonstrator during a protest by foreign, Israeli and Palestinian demonstrators against the controversial Israeli separation barrier, in the Palestinian village of Beit Omar, near the West Bank city of Hebron, on 02 April 2011. While Israel claims the network of steel and concrete walls, fences and barbed wire was neccessary for its security, the Palestinians of the region regard them as a methode of land grab.
