Palestinian men smuggle cement into the Gaza Strip through a tunnel under the Egypt-Gaza border in Rafah on March 14, 2011. Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip was imposed after the militant Hamas group violently seized power in the territory Four years ago. Cement and other building materials are rarely allowed by Israel to enter Gaza, and Israel says the blockade is meant to keep weapons out of Gaza and to put pressure on its Hamas rulers.
