Palestinian Grand Mufti Mohammed Hussein lays a wreath on May 17, 2010 at a memorial site for Arab combatants killed in the 1967 Arab-Israeli war at the Lion's gate cemetery in Israeli-annexed Arab east Jerusalem on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the Nakba, or "catastrophe" in reference to the birth of the state of Israel, which led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who either fled or were driven out of their homes during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war.
