Palestinians protest at the al-Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem on June 25, 2021 after Palestinian parliamentary candidate and activist Nizar Banat, who death being arrested by Palestinian Authority security forces. Thousands of mourners attended the funeral of Palestinian human rights activist Nizar Banat, a day after he died following his arrest by Palestinian security forces. The Palestinian parliamentary candidate and activist died early on June 24 shortly after being arrested by Palestinian Authority security forces in the West Bank city of Hebron, governor Jibrin al-Bakri said.
