Palestinians hold portraits of relatives jailed in Israeli prisons as they protest to demand for their release, in the Al Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem's Old City, on April 27, 2012. After decades of shying away from an ancient pilgrimage route, Muslims are visiting Jerusalem to pray at Islam's third-holiest site and walking straight into a clash between religious clerics, who say such visits are forbidden, and Palestinian leaders urging them to come.
