Palestinian protesters demonstrate near the Dome of the Rock in the Al-Aqsa mosque compound against a decision by the Jerusalem municipality and Israel's Nature and Parks Authority (NPA) to build a national park on Palestinian land in Arab east Jerusalem on March 9, 2012. The planning and construction commission of Jerusalem gave the go ahead for the establishment of a 5,000 square metre tourist complex in Silwan, a move that will likely further raise tensions in the flashpoint neighbourhood.
