A Palestinian activist shows dismantled computers on May 8, 2012 at the offices of the Stop the Wall Campaign, a grassroots' movement overseeing the stuggle of the popoular committess in the West Bank against the controversial separation barrier Israel is building around Jewish settlements on occupied Palestinian land, following an overnight raid by Israeli forces who seized the movements' documents and computer hard disks in Ramallah. The International Court of Justice ruled in 2004 that parts of the barrier were illegal and should be torn down, but Israel's defence ministry insists it protects Israelis and that the route is determined by "specific security considerations" of the area.
