RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Russia- 08 September 2023. Western MD’s T-80BV tank crews support motorised rifle units by fire in Kupyansk direction. STORYLINE: The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to deliver strikes at the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) military objects in the special military operation zone. Western MD’s T-80BV tank crews support motorised rifle units by fire in Kupyansk direction.Unmanned aerial vehicle crews perform firing adjustment and control target engagement. Servicemen successfully engage targets at long range and out of line of sight. Coordinates provided by unmanned aerial vehicle crews allow T-80BV tank crews to neutralise Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) artillery, armoured combat hardware, including foreign-made types, observation posts, ammunition depots from indirect firing positions. Firing from an indirect firing position allows tanks to greatly reduce the risk to the crew and adjust fire using small UAVs. In the special military operation zone, tank crews often use such a complex tactical element as flank firing on the move. Strikes at the enemy are delivered while the combat vehicle is in motion, which increases the survivability of the vehicle on the battlefield. Footage by /APAwire
