Restrictions Summary: APA wire clients only Shortlist: APAwire - APA wire clients only, Gaza- January 4, 2026. The Al-Barsh and Al-Nader families in Jabalia recount the details of an Israeli massacre that occurred last December, when a wedding celebration was targeted inside a shelter in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The attack resulted in the deaths of eight members of the two families, mostly women and children. The tragedy is particularly poignant in the story of Atef Al-Nader, who had already lost his family at the beginning of the war, only to be targeted again after starting a new family. He was killed along with his wife and infant son, just four months old. Only one member of the family remains alive, facing an exceptionally harsh humanitarian situation.
