With limited resources, he is attempting to resume beekeeping to provide a source of income for his family after most of his beehives were destroyed. Beekeepers across the Gaza Strip continue to face major challenges following the destruction of apiaries and vegetation and the loss of about 30,000 beehives, resulting in an estimated USD 39 million in losses and a sharp decline in local honey production.
