Israeli bulldozers have been carrying out infrastructure work at the site for more than a month. The initial area of the settlement is estimated at around 60 dunams of state treasury land, while residents fear future expansion onto their lands. Noa is located near the settlements of Ganim and Kadim, which Israeli authorities recently announced would be re-established.
