As a result of more than 20 months of attacks by the Israeli army targeting settlements, hospitals, schools and public buildings in the Gaza Strip, nearly 90 percent of the population has been displaced. In the Gaza Strip, where approximately 2.3 million people live, most of the displaced Palestinians are trying to survive in damaged buildings or tents.
