Civil Defense teams continue to recover the bodies of more than 400 Palestinians from the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, after they were found in the hospital’s yards and departments following the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the area. Medical staff and volunteers work with extremely limited resources to collect the remains and transfer them for burial, in a scene that underscores the scale of violations inflicted on healthcare facilities during the war.
