STORYLINE: State awards - The Order of Courage, medals 'For Valour', medals of Zukov, as well as the insignia of the Order of St George have been awarded to the drivers and operators of T-72 tanks. The first officer rank of 'junior lieutenant' have been awarded to mortar squad leaders with promotion to higher ranks. Hundreds of tankers and artillerymen of the Central Military District (CMD) have received state decorations for their valour and courage during the special military operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
