Airborne Troops' armoured groups, supported by mortar crews and assault detachments, eliminate AFU manpower STORYLINE: Paratroopers and mortar crews, supported by assault units, have captured a strongpoint of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in one of the directions of the special military operation. Paratroopers' reconnaissance group used an unmanned aerial vehicle, and detected an AFU platoon strongpoint in a wooded area. An assault unit, supported by an armoured group with BMD-2K-AU fighting vehicles and mortar crews, was tasked to capture and destroy it. The fighting vehicles approached the enemy, and opened fire. The operation resulted in the capture of the defensive positions and armament of the enemy, as well as elimination of a large number of AFU personnel. Once the task was accomplished, the armoured group rapidly redeployed to a safe area, while the 82mm Podnos mortar crews changed their positions. Footage by /APA
