RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Gaza - 05 June 2023. A spokesman for the Fatah movement in Gaza, Monther al-Hayek speaks during an interview with APA agency. STORYLINE: Palestinians marked today the 56th anniversary of the Israeli occupation of what was left of Palestine, that is the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, stressing that the resistance and struggle will continue until liberation. Israel launched a surprise war against Jordan, Syria and Egypt on June 5, 1967, during which it occupied the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, from Jordan, the Golan Heights from Syria, and the Gaza Strip and the Sinai from Egypt. Despite United Nations resolutions calling for ending the occupation since then, Israel instead entrenched it with its settlement activities in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights.
