Western MD’s special operations units continue training at firing range at special military operation’s rear area STORYLINE: Servicemen of the Western MD’s special operation units continue training at a firing range the special military operation’s rear area. In a real combat scenario servicemen throw grenades, assault enemy strongholds, undergo engineer combat training and learn ways of countering unmanned aerial vehicles. Experienced instructors of the Zapad Group of Forces supervise the drills. In the rear area of the special military operation servicemen train to locate and eliminate sabotage and reconnaissance units, evacuate the wounded, fire from assault rifles, machine guns, man-portable anti-tank and automatic grenade launchers at targets imitating enemy manpower and light-armoured hardware. In addition, servicemen of special operations units learn army tactical shooting at a specially equipped firing range with walls-shelters, passages, corridors, window openings. All servicemen are wearing a new field uniform, which provides a high degree of camouflage. The uniform was created taking into account the wishes of servicemen involved in the special military operation. In various departments, the kits were tested and gradually refined. The servicemen were also given new special boots equipped with a membrane to protect their feet from getting wet and ventilation in hot weather.
