Maxillo-facial surgeons of Western military district provide necessary medical assistance to servicemen injured in special military operation zone STORYLINE: On 28 August, military medical specialists celebrate their professional holiday. Military doctors consistently demonstrate high skill, selflessness, willingness to always come to help. Military doctors and medical personnel of forward field hospitals and medical centres of the Western MD carry out a daily mission to provide medical assistance to servicemen and civilians who have suffered from AFU attacks in the special military operation zone. Medical specialists of the Western MD receive patients, sometimes without leaving their positions, which makes it possible to provide timely assistance and prevent complications in case of injuries and diseases. The main areas civilians' applications from the liberated territories remain shrapnel wounds from explosions, caused by banned Lepestok mines, foreign-manufactured remote-controlled anti-personnel mines and cluster munitions.. Unique specialists — maxillo-facial surgeons of the Western MD also continue their work in the course of the special military operation. Not only do they preserve the quality of life of wounded servicemen, but they also perform cosmetic surgeries. The published photos show that, despite the horrific consequences of the injury, the serviceman had only a small scar after the course of treatment.
