STORYLINE: Al-Dameer Foundation for Prisoner Care and Human Rights organized a dialogue session in Ramallah, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its founding. It discussed ways to improve the status of institutions concerned with prisoners’ affairs and mechanisms to mobilize the Palestinian street to support the issues of the prisoner movement, and work with the international community to expose the crimes committed by the occupation prison administrations and work to condemn them. The session was attended by a number of prisoners’ families, liberated prisoners, trade unionists and human rights activists, and interventions were provided about the current reality of the prisoner movement in light of the perpetuation of policies of administrative detention, medical neglect, isolation, penalties and withdrawal of achievements and laws adopted by ministers in the occupation government, and the importance of support and support activities abroad for the struggles it is waging.
